The Western Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Nelson, has extended New Year greetings to the people of the Western Region, calling for unity, renewed hope and sustained commitment to development in 2026.
In a New Year’s message issued on 31 December 2025, the Minister expressed appreciation to traditional authorities, religious leaders, public servants, security agencies, development partners and the media for their support and cooperation over the past year.
He noted that the collaboration of stakeholders had been vital to efforts aimed at advancing development in the region and urged all residents to continue working together in the New Year.

Hon. Joseph Nelson encouraged stakeholders to remain committed to inclusive growth, effective service delivery and the maintenance of peace across the Western Region.
He concluded by wishing the people of the region a peaceful, productive and prosperous New Year.
