The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has cut sod for the construction of a CHPS compound with ancillary facilities at Agorgbe and a three-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at Lakpo in the South Tongu District.
According to him, the classroom block, when completed, will provide a Headteacher’s office, staff common room, stores and toilet facilities to improve teaching and learning outcomes in the Lakpo community.
Hon. Gunu said the projects reflect government’s commitment, under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, to strengthening decentralisation and ensuring that development reaches every district.
