It is complemented by the Porcupine and Denkyemkye symbols,emblems deeply rooted in Asanteman heritage,reflecting strength, resilience, wisdom, and continuity. Together, the symbols convey unity between tradition and forward-looking leadership.
According to Dr. Amoakohene, the presentation signals a broader message from Asanteman, particularly its youthful population, indicating readiness to embrace a new path of progress.
He emphasized that the gesture underscores confidence in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a party with the vision, capacity, and resolve to unlock the Ashanti Region’s full development potential.
He concluded by commending the people of Bonwire for their creativity and craftsmanship, noting that their work continues to elevate Ghanaian culture and inspire national pride.
