Residents of Atonsu Agogo in the Ashanti Region were left in shock after the bodies of two employees of the Chinese-owned Asomdwie Rubber Company were discovered in a parked vehicle near a shoe factory.
The deceased, identified as a man known as Baba and his female colleague, whose identity is yet to be confirmed, were found on the back seat of the car, with the woman’s head resting on Baba. Baba was reportedly dressed only in a singlet and shorts and had visible bloodstains, while the woman had parts of her skin peeling from her calf and arm.
Eyewitnesses said the vehicle’s tinted windows were rolled up and the doors locked when the bodies were discovered. Both victims worked for Asomdwie Rubber Company, which specialises in plastic processing. Baba was said to be a senior staff member, while the female employee had been with the company for less than two months.
