The Accra Regional Police Command has arrested a man previously granted bail by the Adabraka Court, following intelligence-led operations that uncovered a firearm, narcotic substances and stolen items in his possession.
The suspect, Suleiman Danjumah, also known as Solomon Addai and Innocent, was arrested on December 10, 2025, barely weeks after he was granted bail on November 25, 2025, over an earlier offence involving a Smith and Wesson pistol and 30 rounds of 9mm ammunition.
According to the police, the arrest was carried out by a joint team from the Accra Regional Police Command and the Police Intelligence Directorate.

During the operation, the suspect was found with an unregistered pistol.
A subsequent search led to the retrieval of a 9mm Parabellum Arcus 94 pistol, military uniforms and caps, a Police Huawei handset, four assorted mobile phones, a shocker, a jack knife, 34 blisters of Tramadol 225mg, and an unregistered jungle motorbike.
Further investigations revealed that the suspect admitted to dealing in narcotics at Las Vegas in Achimota.
Police also established that he had fired warning shots during an altercation with another drug dealer, identified as Mutala Mohammed. Mutala Mohammed was later arrested, and a search of his premises uncovered two parcels of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp and 19 blisters of Tramadol 120, commonly known as “Red.”
The suspect reportedly mentioned one Usman Ali as the source of the weapon. Initial police checks confirmed that the Police Huawei handset retrieved during the operation had been stolen from a police officer.
