A government delegation this afternoon paid homage to the newly installed Omanhene of the Mampong Traditional Council as he sat in public for the first time.
The delegation included the Regional Chairman, Mr. Augustus Andrews, Nana Akwasi, and the Municipal Chief Executive for Mampong, Hon. Yakubu Salifu.
They conveyed their respect and best wishes to the Omanhene on behalf of the Government and the people of the region, and reaffirmed their commitment to working closely with traditional authorities.

The delegation stressed the importance of collaboration with traditional leadership to promote peace, unity, and sustainable development within the Mampong Municipality and the wider Ashanti Region.
