The Oti Regional Coordinating Council has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with World Vision Ghana and three District Assemblies, Krachi West, Krachi Nchumuru, and Kadjebi, to strengthen collaboration and advance community development.
The agreement, signed by Reverend Harry Nii Teye Owoo, Chief Director of the Regional Coordinating Council acting on behalf of the Oti Regional Minister, is aimed at improving access to essential social services and promoting sustainable livelihoods across the region.
The partnership seeks to enhance coordination between government authorities and development partners, foster inclusive growth, and address social and economic development gaps.

In a statement, the Regional Minister commended World Vision Ghana for its long-standing commitment to improving the welfare of children, families, and communities in the Oti Region and beyond. He noted that the MOU reflected a shared determination to accelerate social transformation in the area.
As part of ongoing interventions, World Vision Ghana has commissioned completed water systems under its Universal Service Coverage Project in selected communities within Krachi Nchumuru, Krachi West, and Kadjebi Districts.
The initiative is expected to expand access to potable water, improve sanitation, and contribute to better health outcomes for residents in the beneficiary communities.
