Dr. Opoku Prempeh stressed that the rule of law must prevail over power, institutions must be stronger than individuals, and justice must serve all citizens, not just a few.
Reflecting on the state of Ghana‘s democracy, he observed that the country’s democratic journey remains unfinished, emphasising that democracy must go beyond elections and be sustained by integrity, dignity, accountability, and strong institutions that endure beyond political cycles.
He further called for the continuous building of a just society that protects rights, rewards merit, and creates opportunities for every citizen to pursue their aspirations with dignity and hope.
He concluded by invoking blessings for the nation, wishing Ghana continued strength and unity, and extended Constitution Day greetings to all Ghanaians
