Madam Jean-Marie Formadi, Member of Parliament for the Biakoye Constituency, will celebrate outstanding educators in the district at the 2025 MP’s Teachers Awards scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025.
The ceremony, to be held at the Bowiri Kwame-Krom Evangelical Presbyterian Church, is expected to draw students, community leaders, traditional authorities, clergy, Imams and other stakeholders in education.
The event, themed “Elevating the status of teachers for quality education, celebrating Biakoye’s champions,” aims to acknowledge teachers who have shown exceptional dedication and impact in shaping learning outcomes across the constituency.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency ahead of the programme, Madam Formadi said the awards form part of a commitment she made during her 2024 campaign to uplift and motivate educators in her constituency.
She noted that recognising the hard work of teachers is critical to improving educational standards.
Distinguished guests expected at the ceremony include Mr Eric Kwaku Opong, District Chief Executive; Mr David Kwame Seddoh, District Director of Education; and Mrs Irene Jacuelinda Attabra, Oti Regional Director of Education, among others.
