According to the report, some past students assaulted the teacher allegedly because he was strict during the invigilation of the Christian Religious Studies paper in the 2025 WASSCE.
GES noted that the matter was never reported to the school authorities or management until the video emerged online.
The Service has since taken over the case, with investigations currently underway.
Management condemned the assault as unacceptable, unlawful and a direct affront to the dignity of the teaching profession.
The statement stressed that the students involved will face sanctions in line with the law and GES regulations to ensure justice is served.
GES further assured teachers across the country of its full support in maintaining discipline and safeguarding examination integrity, while urging all students to respect authority and uphold discipline.
