“You have earned your place here through hard work, perseverance, and determination,” Mr Abdulai stated, emphasising that the college remains committed to academic excellence, innovation, and character development.
He added that quality education goes beyond certificates, encompassing disciplined minds, practical hands-on training, and the capacity to contribute meaningfully to national development.
Mr Abdulai encouraged students to leverage the opportunities provided, attend lectures diligently, make full use of the learning facilities, and uphold values such as honesty and respect.
He cautioned against unlawful or unhealthy practices, including examination malpractice, petty theft, substance abuse, and immorality, which could jeopardise their education and future prospects.
Also speaking at the event, Mr Emmanuel Afful, Wenchi Municipal Director of Agriculture, urged students to focus on their studies. He highlighted agriculture as central to sustainable development, food security, and economic empowerment, noting, “You are the future stewards of this vital sector.”
