The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, has reaffirmed the region’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with private healthcare providers following a courtesy visit by the management of Hop Xchange Hospital.
The engagement, held as part of a New Year interaction, offered hospital management the opportunity to brief the Regional Minister on their operational progress and to seek his intervention on key challenges affecting their work.
Dr Amoakohene commended the hospital’s management and staff for their dedication to delivering quality healthcare in the Ashanti Region, with particular emphasis on their contributions to paediatric and maternal care, as well as other specialist medical services that continue to improve health outcomes for families.

He noted that collaboration between government and private healthcare institutions remains critical to expanding access to quality healthcare, improving service delivery, and meeting the growing needs of residents across the region.
The Regional Minister expressed appreciation for the visit and assured the hospital of his readiness to support necessary interventions that would enable the facility to enhance its operations and serve more patients effectively.
