Dr Rashid Pelpuo, Minister of Labour, Jobs and Employment, has visited the 37 Military Hospital to offer solidarity and comfort to victims of the tragic incident that occurred during the Ghana Armed Forces recruitment exercise.
In a statement issued by the Ministry’s Communication Unit, he conveyed profound sorrow over the loss of lives and extended condolences to the families grieving their loved ones.
During his visit, Dr Pelpuo interacted with the injured victims, offering encouraging words and prayers for their rapid healing.

He assured families affected by the incident that government remains committed to supporting them through this difficult period.
He reaffirmed the Ministry’s dedication to upholding safety, dignity and well-being in all recruitment and employment processes, adding: “Our thoughts and prayers remain with all those affected by this tragedy.”
