Otumfuo meets Police Management Board and regional commanders at Police Headquarters

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, met with the Police Management Board (POMAB), former Inspectors-General of Police (IGPs), and 25 Regional Police Commanders from across the country at the National Police Headquarters.

The Deputy Minister for the Interior, Mr. Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi, was also present at the engagement.

Both the Inspector-General of Police and the Deputy Minister expressed appreciation for the Asantehene’s mediation efforts, describing him as a unifying figure whose role continues to boost the morale of personnel of the Ghana Police Service.
