Manhyia, Kumasi – 21 January 2026,Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, on 21 January 2026, engaged key private sector leaders at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen collaboration between traditional authority and the business community.
The meeting brought together prominent Ghanaian entrepreneurs and industry leaders.
Among them were Thomas Svanikier, founder of the Svani Group and co-founder of Fidelity Bank; Kofi Amoa-Abban, Group Chief Executive Officer of Rigworld Group; Joana Gyan Cudjoe, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Golden Empire Legacy Limited; Philip Tieku, Chief Executive Officer of Star Oil; and Daniel McKorley, founder of the McDan Group.

Discussions focused on the role of private sector investment in national development, job creation, and sustainable economic growth, particularly within Asanteman and the wider Ghanaian economy. The engagement highlighted the Asantehene’s continued commitment to fostering dialogue between traditional leadership and the private sector, recognizing business as a critical driver of economic transformation.
