The Ministry of Health has commenced an exercise to ensure the fair and equitable distribution of doctors across the country, urging those currently undergoing recruitment to accept postings to available vacancies in regional and district hospitals.
According to the Ministry, the initiative forms part of a broader effort to improve the even spread of health professionals and strengthen quality healthcare delivery nationwide.
It stressed that all placements are being processed strictly through the official online portal, with no individual or group authorized to demand money or influence postings in any manner.

Eligible doctors have therefore been cautioned against engaging middlemen or paying persons who claim they can alter or fast-track their placements.
Reaffirming its commitment to achieving universal health coverage, the Ministry said it will continue to enforce its policy of distributing doctors equitably across all districts.
Qualified doctors are encouraged to visit the Ministry’s official website and complete their registration before the approved deadline on the portal.
