Togbe Afede XIV, the Agbogbomefia of Asogli, has led a high-level delegation to inspect the Ho Aviation Academy site at the Ho Airport enclave, as preparations advance toward its official opening.
The team included Volta Regional Minister James Gunu, Ho Municipal Chief Executive Stephen Adom, chiefs of Asogli State, engineers, and visiting partners from Sweden.
The inspection formed part of the final review process before the academy begins operations, which will include a pilot training school, an aircraft maintenance unit, and other aviation-related facilities aimed at strengthening Ghana‘s technical aviation capacity.

Togbe Afede expressed satisfaction with the progress, highlighting the project’s role in job creation, professional skills development, and expanded opportunities for youth in the Volta Region.
Mr Gunu praised the strong collaboration among stakeholders, describing the academy as a “transformational investment” that will enhance economic growth and position the region as a hub for innovation and technical excellence.
