Abena Oforiwaa, popularly known as Queenie and the baby mama of Abu Trica, has taken swift action on social media following the arrest of her partner over alleged fraud-related activities.

Abu Trica, who was previously known for his flamboyant lifestyle and strong online presence, was arrested on December 11, 2025, in a joint operation involving the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and several Ghanaian security agencies.

According to an unsealed indictment from the United States Department of Justice, Abu Trica is facing charges including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, money laundering conspiracy, and a forfeiture specification. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison.

Prosecutors allege that Abu Trica was part of an international criminal syndicate that targeted elderly victims in the United States through romance fraud schemes.

The indictment claims the group used artificial intelligence software to assume false identities on social media and online dating platforms, build emotional relationships with victims, and later exploit that trust to extract money and valuables.

“The perpetrators targeted individuals through social media and online dating platforms under false pretences,” the Justice Department stated.

Authorities further allege that the syndicate has been operating since 2023, defrauding victims of more than $8 million, with Abu Trica accused of playing a key role in distributing proceeds of the alleged crimes from the United States to Ghana and other locations.

In the immediate aftermath of the arrest, Queenie deleted all videos and images featuring herself and Abu Trica from her TikTok account and switched the account to private, limiting access to only selected followers. She has not issued any public statement regarding the arrest or the allegations.

Before the arrest, Queenie had built a sizeable online following of over 65,000 TikTok followers, frequently showcasing what appeared to be a luxurious lifestyle shared with Abu Trica.

Content on her page often featured access to high-end vehicles, including a Lamborghini Urus reportedly valued at about $450,000 (approximately GH¢6.8 million), a white Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, and a Tesla Cybertruck, which Abu Trica reportedly acquired in September.

Public interest in the couple intensified in November, when Queenie was involved in an accident while driving the newly acquired Tesla Cybertruck.

Her sudden removal of all shared content following the arrest has since fueled widespread speculation on social media, underscoring the growing public attention surrounding the high-profile case and its unfolding legal consequences.
