Adaklu DCE announces new school blocks and community projects at 41st Farmers Day

Mr. Jerry Yao Ameko, Adaklu District Chief Executive, has pledged to replace “schools under trees” with proper classroom blocks across the district. Six-classroom blocks have already been completed for communities including Adaklu Sofa, Kpeleho, Have, Kpatovoe, Avelebe, and Ablornu.

Additional projects underway include classroom blocks for Adaklu Ablornu, Kpodzi, and Wumenu Kindergartens, a new office block for the District NHIA, CHPS Compounds, a 10-unit toilet facility at Adaklu Waya Animal Market, and borehole rehabilitation to tackle water shortages.

Mr. Ameko assured residents that district roads are part of the government’s Big Push agenda and promised continued development support.

At the celebration, Togbe Amegashie VII, Chief of Adaklu Seva, was named best district farmer and received a tricycle, spraying machines, boots, machetes, agrochemicals, and a certificate.
