Mr William Kpormatsi, a businessman and politician, has donated sets of football jerseys and 28 footballs to support the upcoming 2025 Avenor Tutudoza Football Gala.
The gesture forms part of activities lined up for this year’s Avenor Tutudoza Festival, which celebrates the rich cultural heritage of the Avenor people.
The football gala will feature 28 teams representing the various electoral areas within the Avenor Traditional Area.

Presenting the items in Accra, Mr Kpormatsi reaffirmed his commitment to promoting development across Avenor, particularly through initiatives that engage the youth positively and strengthen community cohesion.
Receiving the items on behalf of the organising committee, Mr Raphael Ahiable, Presiding Member of the Akatsi South Municipal Assembly and a member of the Central Planning Committee (CPC), expressed appreciation for Mr Kpormatsi’s consistent support for youth and community development.
He noted that such contributions foster unity and sportsmanship among young people while enhancing the success of the festival.
The 2025 Avenor Tutudoza Football Gala is scheduled to kick off on November 8, with the grand finale on Sunday, November 30. It is expected to showcase exciting matches, teamwork, and local talent.
This year’s festival is themed “Securing the Future of Avenor through Skills Acquisition, Employment and Economic Growth” and will climax with a grand durbar on Saturday, November 29, at the Akatsi Central Market lorry station.
Avenor Tutudoza is celebrated annually by the chiefs and people of Avenor as an open invitation to both indigenes and non-indigenes to experience the community’s vibrancy and support collective efforts toward the area’s development.
