In his homily on “The 12 Attributes of the Early Church,” Apostle Mensah, quoting the Bible, emphasized repentance and baptism for the remission of sins and the reception of the Holy Spirit.
He reminded attendees that as a community of humans, members would inevitably offend one another, making forgiveness and reconciliation essential. He added that being filled with the Holy Spirit empowers believers to forgive and restore relationships in Christ.
Apostle Samuel Vincent Ansah, Chairman of the Ghana National Council of GCCI, administered Holy Communion, marking the start of the 2025/2026 Ecclesiastical Year of GCCI.
He encouraged members to remember that they had “a covenant-keeping God” guiding them throughout the year.
