Authorities and political leaders in Ho West have intensified oversight of ongoing road construction projects, aiming to ensure the timely delivery of essential transport routes linking multiple communities.
Mr Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzrah, Member of Parliament for Ho West, led the inspection alongside Mr Francis Profer Dusey, the District Chief Executive, and Madam Vera Hayibor, Administrator of the Ghana Road Fund.
The team toured several project sites to evaluate progress and discuss strategies for accelerating work schedules.

The inspection included major roads such as the Juapong,Abutia Kloe stretch, where work officially began with active earth moving. Mr. Bedzrah noted the contractor’s “commendable commitment,” personally joining machinery operators to mark the commencement of construction.
Additional works on the Sokode,Abutia Kloe and Anyirawase,Bame roads are also progressing steadily, serving as critical links for movement of goods, services, and local economic activity.
Madam Hayibor reassured residents that funding streams for ongoing projects are being managed carefully to prevent delays, while Mr Dusey emphasised collaboration with contractors and engineers to address community concerns and maintain efficient execution.
Mr. Bedzrah underlined the importance of continuous monitoring and stakeholder engagement, stressing that the completion of these roads is a shared responsibility critical to the development and connectivity of Ho West and surrounding constituencies.
