The Paramount House Chapel International (PHCI), headquartered in Koforidua, has celebrated its first anniversary with a vibrant thanksgiving service highlighting a year of spiritual growth, community engagement, and visionary leadership. The service brought together congregants, clergy, dignitaries, and traditional leaders from Ghana and the diaspora under the theme, “Thus Far the Lord Has Helped Us,” drawn from 1 Samuel 7:12.
Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III, Paramount Chief of the New Juaben Traditional Area, commended the church‘s rapid growth and its role in fostering unity and spiritual renewal. He emphasised the ministry’s deep spiritual mandate to transform lives and encouraged members to stand united in gratitude and worship.
Founder and General Overseer Prophet Albert Asihene Arjarquah recounted the church’s origins and the divine revelation that inspired its name during a revival mission in Toronto, Canada. He described the past year as one of “divine acceleration,” marked by significant milestones, including the establishment of the Seers Cathedral (Tafo Branch), acquisition of a one-acre site for an ultra-modern sanctuary, preparations for the Paramount Montessori School, and the launch of Paramount Radio 92.5 FM for evangelism, Christian education, and community engagement.

PHCI’s youth wing also initiated farming projects to promote employment and responsible stewardship. Prophet Arjarquah stated, “Our vision is not only spiritual but also social. We are committed to ensuring that the Gospel impacts both the spiritual and physical well-being of our people.”
The anniversary service featured uplifting worship led by The Paramount Voices, a moving theatrical performance by Paramount Theatre, and a musical ministration by celebrated gospel artist Empress Gifty Adorye. Clergymen from various denominations, including the Assemblies of God, joined in intercessory prayers and blessings over the church’s future.
Looking ahead, PHCI outlined a 12-year strategic plan that includes establishing the Paramount Bible College of Prophets, launching a television station, expanding church branches in Ghana and internationally, and deepening community development through education, media, agriculture, and social outreach. Prophet Arjarquah affirmed, “We are building a Christ-centred global church that reflects excellence, discipline, and divine purpose.”
The service was graced by Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso, former General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God, Ghana, who delivered the sermon, commending PHCI’s achievements and encouraging the church to pursue excellence in ministry and societal impact. He highlighted the establishment of schools, media platforms, and future Bible colleges as examples of alignment with global best practices in ministry.
The event concluded with joy, reverence, and a sense of purpose as attendees lifted their voices in worship and thanksgiving, culminating in the symbolic cutting of the anniversary cake.
