As part of the exercise, the team also conducted a site visit to Nhyeaso, which is being considered as a potential location for the theatre complex and its major ancillary facilities.
The visit formed part of a selection and assessment process to determine the suitability of the area in terms of accessibility, space, and long-term development potential.
The proposed theatre complex is expected to play a critical role in strengthening cultural and creative infrastructure in Kumasi, positioning the city as a key destination for arts, tourism, and entertainment in Ghana.
Officials involved in the tour reaffirmed their commitment to projects that celebrate Ghanaian culture while driving economic activity and urban renewal in the Ashanti Region.
