The 2024/2025 cohort of National Service Personnel (NSP) at Stanbic Bank Ghana has donated essential medical equipment and financial support to the Dialysis Unit of the 37 Military Hospital to enhance patient care and comfort.
The donation comprised two electric dialysis chairs, a monitoring machine, and GHS 4,200 in cash to assist four patients facing financial challenges. The initiative forms part of an annual tradition at Stanbic Bank where each batch of service personnel mobilises resources to support meaningful social causes.
Leading the presentation, Jacqueline Osei Kusi, Acting Head of Client Coverage at Stanbic Bank Ghana, praised the dedication of the hospital’s medical team and reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to community wellbeing. “This donation goes beyond equipment – it’s about supporting lives. We are honoured to contribute to the well-being of patients and to recognise the tireless efforts of healthcare professionals,” she said.

The generosity of Stanbic’s service personnel is truly lifesaving and continues a legacy of compassion,” he remarked.
Jared Bush, President of the Stanbic Bank NSP group, reflected on the impact of their collective effort. “It wasn’t easy, but the impact makes every effort worthwhile. We wanted our year of service to leave a lasting mark – and we’ve done just that,” he said.
Other members of the cohort echoed similar sentiments, emphasising the personal fulfilment that came with supporting patients in need. “Knowing we’ve helped patients who need it most is incredibly fulfilling,” one member shared.
The Dialysis Unit of the 37 Military Hospital remains a critical centre for renal care in Ghana, serving patients from across the country. The gesture by Stanbic Bank’s service personnel underscores the bank’s enduring commitment to community health and demonstrates the transformative power of youth-led initiatives.
