World Vision’s Southern Regional office and the Oti Regional Coordinating Council (ORCC) have signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at providing universal coverage services in the Oti Region.
The partnership will focus on addressing water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) challenges in Krachi West Municipal, Krachi Nchumuru District, and Kadjebi/Akan District.
Reverend Harry Nii Kwatei-Owoo, Chief Director of the ORCC, expressed gratitude to World Vision for its timely intervention and reaffirmed the council’s commitment to supporting the initiative, highlighting the region’s long-standing WASH challenges.

Mr Irvine Aboagye, Southern Regional Operations Manager of World Vision, commended the collaboration, noting that the projects would alleviate water and sanitation issues and improve the quality of life for beneficiary communities.
Mr Rebel Wamisho, Associate WASH Director of World Vision, encouraged the region to remain fully committed and assured stakeholders that World Vision would work diligently to fulfil its mission. He emphasised open communication and welcomed new ideas to enhance project impact.
Both World Vision and the ORCC pledged to ensure the success of the initiative through collaborative monitoring and evaluation. The MoU signing ceremony formally outlined the projects and confirmed that they are set to span five years, benefiting communities across the three districts.
